Antonio Galvaõ de Castellobranco a fez escrever.; Certification on p. [3] is dated and signed: Lisboa Occidental 14. de fevereyro de 1719. Dom Miguel Maldonado.; Law mandating that gold from Brazilian mines must be taken to the royal foundries in Brazil to be processed to avoid the smuggling of the gold out of the country; the punishment for smuggling gold out the country would be confiscation of gold and goods but also exile to India for ten years.
