See Hanson.; "A state of Mr. Paterson's claim upon the equivalent", pages 10-13, includes financial information regarding his claim.; Pages 14-16 contain 'A bill for relieving William Paterson, Esq; out of the equivalent money, for what is due to him'. It was first printed in [London?], 1714 but not enacted.; Paterson's claim was for indemnity for expenditures and losses incurred during his connection with the Company of Scotland trading to Africa and the Indies. His petition was favorably acted upon by the House of Commons in 1713 but failed in the House of Lords. The claim was finally allowed by Parliament in July 6, 1715.; Signatures: A⁸.
