General Note:
The president, Anthony Palmer, and the council of the province of Pennsylvania were present; on the other side was a delegation of Indians of the Six Nations (the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, Seneca, and Tuscarora) from the Ohio country, who came without invitation. The informed the council that at the beginning of the war with France the Six Nations had been advised by the English colonists to remain neutral. However, after the French and some of their Indian allies had attacked English settlements, the Indians had repeatedly requested to join with the English.; Signatures: [A]² ([A]1 verso blank) B²; Title printed within double rule border; vignette of the seal of Pennsylvania on title page.
