In 1734 James Oglethorpe brought the native Americans, Tomochichi (Mico or king of the Yammacraws), Senawki (his consort), Toonakowi (his nephew), Hillipilli, Apakowtski, Stimalechi, Sintouchi, Hinguithi, Umphychi, and five other chiefs with their interpreter to the English court at Kensington. They had been brought there to renew the peace treaty of the Creek nations with the British. Tomochichi presented George II with eagle feathers.Volume five contains an account of the British discoveries in America and voyages around the world.
