The painter may be Fra Bartolomé de San Antonio (1708-1782) who was a member of the Trinitarios descalzos; he studied painting in Rome for six years and in 1740 returned to his native Spain. The engraver may be Gennaro Gutierrez, an Italian engraver, who flourished about the year 1760.
