Portrait of Saint Francisco Borgia [Francisco de Borja y Aragon] kneeling before an altar. Includes the IHS symbol of the Jesuits with three nails below, crucifix, skull wearing a crown or miter, instruments of self-mortification such as scourge or flails, chains, crown of thorns. Also includes coat of arms of Borja y Aragon, crowns, galeros, open books, and hands covered in armor or mail holding military materièl such as arrows, spears, tent.
