Appointed archbishop of Lima in 1580, Toribio Alfonso Mogrovejo traveled Peru on foot baptizing and confirming the natives, among them Rosa of Lima, Francisco Solano [Solanus], and Martin Porrés. He was canonized in 1726. Saint James is the patron saint of Spain; his remains are said to be in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain. This book shows scenes from his life.
