notes:
The red-beaked toucan is probably the red-billed or white-throated toucan, Ramphastos tucanus, native to Surinam and northeastern South America. The edible turtle is Chelonia mydas whose range is worldwide, but whose usefulness as food was exploited especially in the Caribbean as noted by Martyn.
