The blue and red macaw is probably Ara macao, the scarlet macaw, found from southern Mexico through South America. The blue and yellow macaw is probably Ara ararauna whose range is northern South America. It is becoming endangered. The blue-backed manakin which the text says comes from Surinam may be Chiroxiphia pareola. It has not been possible to identify the purple-breasted manakin which the text says come from Brazil or the white-faced manakin which the text says comes from Guiana.
