Cocos nucifera is the scientific name of the coconut palm tree. It is uncertain whether it is native to northwestern South America or to south Asia. Text notes that the native Americans use every part of the tree.Bellegarde was a clergyman, author, and translator. He translated Bartolomé de Las Casas.Sometimes attributed to Du Perier de Montfraisier.
