Text states that both the semipalmated snipe and the clapper rail (Rallus longirostris ) inhabit New York. Image placed horizontally on page. Thomas Pennant was a Welsh naturalist and antiquary. Peter Mazell was a British engraver of flowers and animals. Title for v. [2] and [3] reads: Arctic zoology. Imprint is the same as in v. [1].
