notes:
Text describes the attack on Portobelo, Panama, by Henry Morgan in June 1668. Sneaking into the city under cover of darkness, Morgan and his men captured the first two forts, but were unable to capture the third until Morgan devised a plan using captured Catholic priests and nuns to shield his crew as they climbed the walls of the fort. This work is a collection of four works (commonly identified as being written by Alexander Olivier Exquemelin).
