Monks carry a church, with a symbol of the Holy Spirit in the entry and God the Father in clouds above it, on their shoulders. They teach about the creation of the world, Catholic doctrine, instruct for marriage and writing, take care of the sick, read aloud, perform baptism, burial, and marriage services, hear confessions, and give communion and last rites.
