Text (p. 726-727) describes a plant used as a diuretic by native Americans in Chile. Scientific name: Epipactis [?]. Engraving attributed to Pierre-François Giffart (1647-1723). Father Louis Feuillée was a French botanist and member of the Académie Royal des Sciences, who served as scientist and botanist on several French expeditions.
