Critical to the claim that Amerigo Vespucci traveled to the New World, this book (a compilation of voyages by Francanzano da Montalboddo) includes a letter Vespucci sent in 1503 to his former empoyer Pier di' Francesco de Medici, which alleges that he traveled down the coast of South America in 1501 to 1502.
