Investment schemes. [The great gathering place of the wind-dealers in the year 1720.] The central scene shows a large room filled with people looking at shares. Surrounding the scene are four scenes one of men handing out shares, one of men landing on shore with ships in the background, one of an allegorical figure, Minerva, is shown working on a loom (includes the coat of arms of Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Leiden), and one shows a man climbing a ladder and another falling from it..
