Map of the county of Cornwall on the island of Jamaica. Includes sugar and other plantations, mills, roads, etc. indicated. Decorative cartouche includes scene with wind-powered sugar mill, slave, planter, house. Scale has ornate architectural cartouche.

Thomas Craskell (chief engineer on the island) and James Simpson (and chief surveyor) were engaged to conduct the first detailed survey of the Island of Jamaica which was conducted from 1756 to 1761.
