Map of North America from Baffin's Bay to the northern part of South America, including part of Central America. Cartographic elements include lines of latitude and longitude, sea banks or shoals, location of native American tribes or nations, settlements, lakes and rivers. Decorative elements include a cartouche with a portrait of King George I being held by an angel blowing a horn or trumpet and a mythological figure wearing a winged helmet and carrying a caduceus [Mercury]. Also includes a native American woman wearing a feathered headdress and carrying a bow and arrow, an alligator [?], bales of tobacco, a severed head with an arrow through it, snakes (one of them winged), a vessel full of coins, sugar cane and pineapple plants, as well as an assortment of the articles that Willdey sold at his shop.
