Historical notes:
La Peyrère is known as a formulator of Pre-Adamite theory [the belief that humans existed before Adam]. He served as secretary to the Prince of Condé. He also argued that Messiah would join with the Prince of Condé to liberate the Holy Land, rebuild the Temple and set up a world government of the Messiah with the king of France (the Prince of Condé) as regent.
