Map of North and Central America, including the northern part of South America and the Caribbean islands. Cartographic elements include lines of longitude and latitude, sea banks, and scales; California is shown as an island, and the northwest part of North America is blank. Two decorative cartouches show [top] native Americans in feathered headdress and garments holding club, bow and arrow, armadillo, parrots, wild cat [?], coat of arms of the dauphin of France and [bottom] two native Americans in feathered headdress and garments.
