Benedetto XIV. e decreti di Sua Maesta Fedelissima / Catholic Church. Pope (1740-1758 : Benedict XIV) (half title; p. [65]-100); Published in Siena; "Lisbona" in imprint refers to imprint of previous Italian edition which incorrectly shows this place name, rather than the real place of publication, Rome.; Signatures: A-H⁸ (E2 signed as "F2") I⁴ (A1 verso, G3 verso, I4 verso blank); Four documents about Jesuits, numbered: Numero primo [-quarto], are appended (p. 39-53); The section: Breve di nostro signore PP. Benedetto XIV. consists of three documents: 1) An ordinance by the Bishop of Parà, dated Belém, 29 May 1757 (p. 66, 75), distributing the brief of Pope Benedict XIV, dated 20 December 1741 and originally published Rome, 1742, now republished, in its original Latin version, the text proper starting with: Immensa pastorum principis (p. 67-75); 2) a decree by the King of Portugal, Joseph, dated Lisbon, 7 June 1755 and originally published in Portuguese, Lisbon, 1755 (p. 76-81); and 3) a decree by the King of Portugal, dated Lisbon, 6 June 1755 and originally published in Portuguese, Lisbon, 1755 (p. 82-100); "Appendice alla Relazione" has special title page and separate paging, but continuous signatures.
