Con motivo de haber esta direccion general estimado preciso y conveniente que las cantidades de alcabalas que, por dudarse ó qüestionarse su adeudo, se exîgían y exîgen en varias administraciones del reyno con calidad de depósito, se sentasen en los libros reales, se acreitáran en los estados, y enteráran en caxas con los demás valores en la renta, se expidió una orden circular en 23 de diciembre de 1778 (que exǐstirá en ese archivo) del tenor siguiente.
