Title from masthead.; Name of printer from colophon.; According to the Publicaciones periódicas del Uruguay website. [v. 1], no. 1 was printed October 13, 1810 and the last issue was an Extraordinaria supplement dated June 21, 1814.; The serial was directed by Juan Bautista Aramburu and edited by Nicolás Herrera and Mateo de la Portilla y Cuadra from 1810-1811 and by Cirilo de la Alameda y Brea from 1811-1814.; Each volume has continuous pagination.; This periodical was the first periodical published in Montevideo by the Spanish. Written from a royalist perspective, it included news from Europe and all over South America about politics, government, and the various wars of independence on the continent.
