Bottles, wire, wax blocks, book, a sheet of leaf brass or Dutch gold (fig. X), and rings arranged so as to test the movement of electricity from one place to another. Includes man standing on a piece of wax in a "sentry box" to draw lightning from the sky while being protected. Items are lettered and numbered for discussion in the text.
