Text states that all the ducks shown are from northern North America (Hudson Bay, Greenland, or Newfoundland) except the ferruginous duck. The great black duck may be Anas rubripes; the eider may be Somateria mollissima; and the little black and white duck may be the barnacle goose, Branta leucopsis.
