notes:
The globe diodon and short diodon fish or pufferfish are members of the family Tetraodontidae whose distribution is worldwide in warm waters. It has not been possible to identify these species, but the text notes that they are found in America. The North American horned dobchick is probably the horned or Slavonian grebe, Podiceps auritus, whose habitat is widely spread over North America; it breeds in Canada.
