Appointed archbishop of Lima in 1580, Toribio Alfonso Mogrovejo traveled Peru on foot baptizing and confirming the natives, among them Rosa of Lima, Francisco Solano [Solanus], and Martin Porrés. He was canonized in 1726. This book shows scenes from his life. The Colegio Mayor de San Salvador de Oviedo is located at the University of Salamanca.
