Cook's expedition reached Unalaska in July, 1778. Unalaska is both a city and an island in the Aleutian chain in present-day Alaska. It has been inhabited by the Aleuts for centuries.John Webber accompanied Cook on his third voyage to the Pacific.The engraver may be William Sharp, English, 1749-1824.
