An allegorical depiction of the spiritual conquest of Mexico. The church, shown as a blindfolded woman, carries a cross and a chalice with the host above it. Around her, native American men, women, and children kneel. Includes Christian church, owl [?], and native American sculptured objects. Also includes Biblical quotation in Latin, "Haec est Victoria, quae vincit Mundum Fides nostra. 1 Ioan. 5. v. 4."
