Isla Róbinson Crusoe, formerly known as Más a Tierra, is part of the Juan Fernandez Islands, Chile. Engraver may be Jean Haas. The story of Robinson Crusoe was based on the story of Alexander Selkirk who went to sea in 1704 with William Dampier and was put ashore on this island off of the coast of Chile where he survived until he was rescued in 1709 by Woodes Rogers.
