Text describes how two of Powhatan's sons came to the English camp up a Virginia river to see if their sister, Pocahontas or Matoaka, was still alive. A similar image was published by Johann Theodor de Bry, America. Pt. 10. This is the first issue of the first edition and was printed in the 13th part of Levnius Hulsius, Sammlung von sechs und zwanzig Schiffahrten, printed in 26 parts between 1598 to 1663.
