Attack on a city in Panama. At top the town is engulfed in flames. At bottom is a scene of warfare. Built environment includes dwellings, church, fortifications, and ships. Military aspects include guns or muskets, lances or spears, horses, and swords.

Henry Morgan attacked the town of Panama in January 1671. In a daring attack, he captured the town which burned during the seige. Part I of the Bucaniers of America was written by Alexandre Olivier Exquemelin.
