Narrative description: 
Fig, pomegranate,date, and cottonwood trees. Bartlett was confined to bed during the month of November 1851. It is possible that this drawing was made by Henry Cheever Pratt who was with Bartlett during that whole month. The drawing does not show any background, people, or animals, unusual for a Bartlett drawing.
