Related drawing: nonePersonal Narrative derivative: vol. 1, p. 480 Bartlett had ventured to Santa Cruz to return to her family, Inez Gonzales, a Mexican girl originally abducted by Apaches and later sold to a group of New Mexicans. He also secured supplies for the surveying parties on the Gila River.
