Narrative description: 
View of a mission church behind a wall and gate. There is no date or signature to this sketch, although Pratt did an oil painting, now in the Albuquerque Museum from a similar vantage point of this drawing.
Notes: 
Related drawing: JRB030 (but a different perspective). Personal Narrative derivative: none. San Xavier del Bac, founded as a mission by Father Eusebio Kino in 1693, was constructed in 1783 to 1797 on the site of an earlier church and might well be the best preserved Spanish mission in the southwest.
