Pharmaceutical inventory of Doctor David Vanderlight, principal pharmacist of the town of Providence and husband of Mary Vanderlight, née Brown, daughter of John Brown (1698-1739), and sister of Nicholas, Joseph, John, and Moses Brown. Some of the medcines mentioned in the inventory list are: jalap, myrrh, mastic, aloes, mace, nutmeg, cloves, opium, castor, balsam, camphor, rhubarb, as well as pharmacist supplies such as vials, cottton wool, spatulas, pots, and lead weights.
