Cartobibliographic notes:
This map is a copy of the two smaller inset maps at the top of Martin Waldseem𬬥r's large world map of 1507. Prior to the discovery of Waldseem𬬥r's map, the map of the western hemisphere was thought to be the earliest to show America. This map, often missing from Stobnicy's book, exists in three known examples. This map was the first map to be printed in Poland.
