According to the errata, this map was included in this book because a map was yet not ready to illustrate the author's section on Virginia. It was derived from John Smith's map of Virginia of 1612. The engraver uses illustrations from Theodor de Bry's America. Part I. which are taken from John White's drawings.Image placed horizontally on page.
