Geographical description: 
Map of North and South America with the northwestern coast of North America blank and California shown as an island. Cartographic elements include compass rose and lines of longitude and latitude. Decorative cartouche at bottom shows native American with feathered headdress and garments under a parasol and black [slaves] or native Americans carrying baskets of earth [mining?] and hunting. Also includes bars of gold and silver, birds, snakes, and bow. Cartouche at top includes angel and native American holding the cartouche while a woman holding a cross tramples a devil with long fingernails. Decorative elements include animals, scene of native American warfare, and dwellings in Brazil.
