Narrative description:
Bute is accused of advancing French interests. Bute and a witch escape England on a broom. Bute is greeted on his arrival in France by the "Young Pretender." It was said that when Bute faced political difficulties, he was in the habit of going abroad. Images include: Britannia; Prince Charles Edward (the Young Pretender); the Devil as a satyr; witch on a broom.
